Subject: Careful with that Bass

Thanx Jack, Marty, Dwight, Dr. Michael, Steven, and Jack. If you have delicate doily ears then listening to this probably will ruin your life. But you really should check it out because of the treats. The best part of the show sounds the best! Your speakers might get eaten from the bass at times. Dark Star is way out. Feeling Groovy jam in the middle.
Personal preference: NRPS on one disc. Acoustic through Cold Rain on another, then the meat on disc 3. I am playing Portland Woman, Schoolgirl, and Easy Wind on my radio show this week. Peace

Subject: Etree Matrix

I just picked up sick bits vol. 14, which is a matrix of the second half of the second set. Grab it off bt.etree.org while you can!!!!
It'll blow your mind, the dark star is easily one of the top ten of all time.

Subject: Caution!!!!!!!!

This may be a great, legendary show, but it certainly deserves more than these two shitty AUDs. I usually don't mind AUDs from this era but this one is an exception. The Weinberg AUD is better than the Toner AUD, but that's not saying much. Weinberg did a better job taping 11/8/70 (or at least most of it). This is only for the curious and completists, because the quality is so poor that it's almost impossible to tell if the performance is good or not. Avoid. At least part of Sugar Magnolia through Lovelight (the best part of the show) was taped through the SBD.
